Deyata Kirula National Exhibition 2011 begins in Buttala – 04 February 2011

His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open the “Deyata Kirula” National Exhibition in Buttala on 04 February 2011. The Exhibition which is held for the 5th consecutive year, is held coincide with the 63rd Independence Day.  The Exhibition will be held till the 10 February from morning to midnight.

The exhibition consists of hundreds of stalls from all Government Agencies, Security Forces and the private sector. 

The exhibition reveals the Sri Lankan heritage and pride. It also gives knowledge on the development schemes undertaken under the Mahinda Vision and achievements of the Government in the economic, social and cultural fields. 

The Northern East Housing Reconstruction Programme (NEHRP) also exhibit their products, achievements and house reconstruction activities going on in the North and East Provinces, at this exhibition.
